Cost-Plus Business Model Characteristics:
- Service fee is determined by the “would be In-House Cost” to the client (which is actually now our cost) plus a markup for our professional service.
- The labor component of cost is equal to the Avg In-House Labor Costing based on US Labor Department Statistics.
- The Total In-House Cost is then calculated as: (Actual Hours x Total Hourly Cost) + Outside Services + Materials
- Client gets itemized invoice for services rendered that includes the details of the “In-House Cost”.
- Our Professional fees are applied as a markup of 30% to the “In-House Cost”.
Differentiation from traditional placement agencies’ contracts:
- Service Fee: based on cost of services rendered instead of on number of “candidates placed”.
- Prospect’s data belongs to Client instead of being denominated as “Recruiter’s Intellectual Property”.
- Service fee not contingent to number of placements, retainer, or exclusivity contracts.
- Service fee not tied to candidates’ salaries or their total yearly compensation.
- No charges for multiple placements on same search.
- Client decides level of involvement, but any service must include all prior steps unless client provides data.

Situation A, B, and C represent various possible characteristics of a job vacancy filling situation that requires to be raised from a passive job posting campaign to a pro-active outreach campaign, along with varying levels of engagement and service offerings tailored to different recruiting needs and business impacts. All of our levels of service assume screening down a demographic pool of 100+ prospects.
Our BASIC service is ideal for situations with low hiring risks, offering up to 40 matched prospects referrals from our active pool, with essential services included, but excluding initial reach-out, pre-qualification, and other phases. This level of service is ideal for Hiring Managers who want to be fully engaged in the screening and qualification process (do their own), but want to start with a filtered pool of prospects to avoid the administrative time and cost associated with managing multiple job board postings.
The PLUS service is suited for moderate-risk scenarios, offering up to 16 pre-qualified candidates from active and semi-passive sources, with initial reach-out screening based on experience relevancy, interest and availability. Behavioral, skills and culture fit assessments (tests) are provided, but excludes their evaluation, full candidate qualification and other phases. This level of service is for Hiring Managers who want to be partially engaged. They want to let us do the initial reach-out recruiting calls and screening interviews and refer only serious pre-qualified prospects’ profiles.
The STANDARD service offers a complete solution for high-risk hiring scenarios, providing fully qualified top talent from our exclusive GRN Network. STANDARD service includes sourcing up to 3 fully qualified candidates, comprehensive assessments, reference and background checks, and full recruitment support, including onboarding and candidate performance guarantees. This service level is ideal for Hiring Managers who want to be involved only in critical decisions. We do all the work for you; let us handle all phases of the screening process and present only the highest quality top talent that fits your expectations for your final decision.
We offer behavioral, skills, and culture fit assessments as part of our services, ensuring candidates align with your organization’s requirements. Candidates’ assessments and background verification checks are conducted by third-party providers to ensure compliance with legal regulations and protect the rights and responsibilities of all parties involved.
Depending on the level of services, we offer up to five assessments per candidate (Behavioral, Skills, and Culture Fit) for up to ten candidates at no additional cost. You can select from over 300 standard technical tests, behavioral interviews, or psychometric evaluations and assessments, or customize to your needs to further gauge the suitability of the candidates for the position.
Yes, we provide Candidate Performance Guarantees to ensure your satisfaction with the selected candidates. We guarantee every candidate we qualify and place to allow you sufficient time to satisfy yourself that the candidate has the requisite experience and qualifications, and that information provided by the candidate and other sources, directly or through us, is accurate. If the Service Relationship between your Company and the Candidate is terminated for performance-related issues, we’ll conduct a new search and replace the candidate for no additional professional fees.
Fees are structured as a percentage of the candidate’s first-year compensation, varying based on the service level chosen (look for our current fee structure in this FAQ’s). Our flexibility includes offering deep discounts for developing a long-term mutual relationship.
Our professional fees are designed to cover all foreseeable expenses, but in case you have a requirement not included in our typical service package (for example – additional candidates’ background checks in excess of the ones we included), we will get your consent first and pass those at cost.
Also, our professional fees don’t cover out-of-pocket expenses such as travel and lodging if needed.

Timelines vary based on the service level and specific hiring requirements, but we strive to expedite the process while maintaining quality standards. For example; A typical timeline for our STANDARD service is three weeks or less for a mid-level position (say, an engineer) from the start of the campaign to the job offer. The timeline may also be influenced by a few days by the type and depth of background checks requested. In contrast, the timeline for a BASIC service may be two-three days. As a rule of thumb, the lower the hiring-risk to the organization, the faster the timeline.
Our STANDARD service offers standard background verification checks for up to three candidates that we present, at no additional cost. Additional verifications are billed as out-of-pocket expenses.
These thorough verifications of candidates’ references, credentials, education, employment history, and criminal background are conducted by third-party providers to ensure compliance with legal regulations and protect the rights and responsibilities of all parties involved. Furthermore, we adhere to legal guidelines to ensure all recruitment processes comply with industry standards and regulations, and during the vetting process, we will assist and help you navigate the requirements of adverse actions compliance if it becomes necessary.

‘Match’ involves sourcing prospects with over 80% of the required skills from multiple sourcing channels. It means to search, source, and identify potential candidates, fitting basic role qualifications provided by you, through multiple sourcing channels such as internal and external databases, social media, or referrals.
‘Pre-Qualify’ means to conduct initial screening calls to verify matched candidates’ qualifications, experience relevancy, interest, and availability. It involves filtering out candidates who don’t meet basic requirements, and to gauge their aspirations, constrains, and motivators.
In the ‘Qualify’ stage, we further scrutinize and evaluate pre-qualified Candidate’s role Suitability, Qualifications, Fit, and Motivators. ‘Fall-Offs’ refer to candidates who are always seeking greener pastures and leave shortly after placement because of a new job offer. Our services aim to minimize these occurrences by ensuring a strong job fit, including identifying their motivators.
‘Turn-Downs’ occur when candidates use job offers as leverage for their current positions. They show your offer to their current manager, get a counter-offer, and decline yours. We strive to filter these candidates out early in the recruitment process.
For critical roles, especially in the STANDARD service, we strictly follow all screening phases of matching, pre-qualifying, qualifying, and present only the highest quality candidates for your final vetting decision.
