Our Standard Service

Thank you for your interest in GRN Mountain Point. For the sake of transparency: Our STANDARD service level is not a resume mill; it is not typically used for general hires, but more for business-critical hires. Not the same as our BASIC service, as it focuses in recruiting from the workforce that is NOT actively looking for a new job; those high quality, hard to find, passive, invisible candidates that will not see your job posting if you had one.

HOW WE WORK

To achieve this differentiation, we strive to understand the needs and expectations from the perspective of the hiring manager. We look beyond the job description and focus on talent that can also fit personality, work style, motivation, potential, company culture and chemistry. In our experience, the best person that can help us provide that level of service is the Hiring Manager. Below is an outline that explains the process we follow.
First

We’ll conduct a project strategy session where you (the hiring manager) and us will spend 20 - 30 minutes uncovering what talent you need for the position you have asked us to recruit on. Specifically, we'll cover:

  • Understanding your vision / needs
  • Expectations of the work
  • Urgency and efforts to fill the position
  • Your desired level of engagement
  • Your hiring process
  • Selling points of the company, the opportunity, and
  • Your selling points as the hiring manager
  • Go ever our service models that best fit your situation
  • Discuss the service agreement
Second

Our team will review the scope of the search and come back to you in follow-up calls with areas in which we need more clarity. We will help you analyze the job description. We want to make sure this is a realistic search for both of us. Meanwhile, you'll review our service agreement and return it signed.

Third

Once we have the signed service agreement from you, we'll conduct a project strategy session if necessary to re-qualify the search criteria and to remove any ambiguity.

Fourth

Our team will begin creating a recruit campaign and focus first on screening matching candidates down to 30-40 (typ.), Pre-Qualify as many candidates as possible down to 10-16 (typ.), and then present the best 2-3 fully Qualified ones. This means my team and I will spend considerable time on the phone - and administering any required assessments – to qualify a pool of potential talent to present to you.

Fifth

We will assist in scheduling and monitoring the interview process, and debrief both you and the candidate after the interview to get a decision.

Sixth

We will verify their credentials, education, criminal record, and call their references; re-validate their motivators, and get their permission to accept an offer on their behalf.

Seventh

We will assist in the vetting / selection process; reviewing all gathered information and assessments to make a final decision on the candidate’s suitability.

Finally

When you've decided on which candidate to extend an offer, we will assist in mediating negotiations (salary terms, benefits and start date) on your behalf to avoid turn-downs and counter-offers. We will then continue to work with you and your new hire before and after they start to ensure a smooth transition with their newly formed relationship.
