Global Recruiters Network Mountain Point is a SharpKeen Inc. company. SharpKeen has two subsidiaries: SharpKeen Enterprises and SharpKeen Talent. They are described below.

SharpKeen Enterprises is a consulting firm consisting of a group of experts that spun off from IntelliServ Inc. and Danaher Corporation. Our combined five-member group expertise amounts to more than 120 years of experience in business management and transformation, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TQM, JIT, ERP, MRP, and Factory Physics, to name a few disciplines.  We are Change Agents, and we all have applied and managed different facets of businesses through transformations during our professional life – Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, Sales, Quality, Process Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, etc. We have been responsible and accountable for producing results, so we deeply understand a manager’s perspective. Leadership Team

Joel Guzman

Joel Guzman is President and Managing Director of Global Recruiters of Mountain Point.  Joel brings +25 years of experience overseeing all aspects of businesses in the manufacturing industry.  Before coming to GRN, Joel was VP of IntelliServ Inc., a National Oilwell Varco company for over more than 10 years in charge of various national and international manufacturing locations.  Before that, Joel worked for more than 15 years in Danaher Corporation and with many of its different companies such as Fluke Corporation, Hart Scientific, Tektronix, Agilent Technologies, and many others.  His experience in improving business acquisitions, transformation, turn-arounds, efficiency, and profitability, has taken him across a wealth of the Manufacturing Industry subsectors including: oil & gas, computer, electrical and electronics equipment and components, test and measuring equipment, automation controls, machinery manufacturing, metal machining, clean-room plastics and rubber products manufacturing, transportation equipment, calibration, refrigeration, and others.

During his career as a seasoned Change Agent, Joel rose through the ranks with various increasing roles of responsibility and achieved status of Master Black Belt in many disciplines, systems and techniques of Factory Science, Problem Solving and Continuous Improvement (Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, ERP, Total Quality Management, Supply Chain Management and others). This contributes to Joel’s deep experience in business acquisitions’ transformation, supply chain management, project management, engineering, New Product Development, R&D, and in all aspects of manufacturing, giving him a unique understanding of a client’s perspective in the search of qualified talent that fits the leadership’s vision, the strategy, the objectives, the culture, the needed skillset, the responsibilities, and the expected performance of the candidates it seeks to hire.  It was this intimate relationship with the needs from a company’s leadership standpoint that ultimately drove him to GRN.

Alma Guzman

Alma Guzman is Vice President and Managing Director of Global Recruiters of Mountain Point. She has been the Human Resources Director, Safety Director, and EE Officer for Utah Pacific Bridge and Steel for the last 25 years. She has overseen the safety, payroll, benefits, the performance and the development of more than 100 long-term employees in this $55M company, including their managers, supervisor, directors, vice presidents and CEO. Alma has been responsible for writing, implementing and enforcing all company policies and regulatory procedures.

Alma comes to Global Recruiters of Mountain Point with extensive experience and skills in all areas of a Human Resources Generalist: Safety, Adult Learning, Leadership, Performance Appraisals and Facilitation. She possesses a keen understanding of the importance of results. She is a dynamic and visionary executive with deep experience driving bottom-line benefits by effectively overseeing this aspect of a business.

During her career, she has developed an extensive expertise and focus on business performance, employee development, and building positive internal community relationships. She regularly mentors both supervisors and employees in their development needs and performance plans and their assessment of their results.  Alma’s natural ability in the utilization of these skills has helped transition their traditional business and workforce culture to a collaborative and supportive one, yielding positive results to cost, quality, delivery, and morale.

Having been in this post for over 25 years, and having been responsible for the finding, screening, evaluating, hiring, matching and placing of over 500 employees among thousands of candidates, Alma is highly aligned to the needs of a company in finding the right talent that fits the leadership’s vision, the strategy, the objectives, the culture, the needed skillset, the responsibilities, and the expected performance of the candidates it seeks to hire.  It was this intimate relationship with the needs from the company’s leadership standpoint that ultimately drove her to GRN.
